I am excited to share that I am now part of the team of SPECTRUM INSPIRED PHOTOGRAPHER'S! 

SPECTRUM INSPIRED is a global community that connects, supports and uplifts individuals and families touched by Autism Spectrum Disorders. In order to educate the general public, our team uses Lifestyle Photography to document a diverse group of children on the spectrum and their families across the globe in effort to normalize and destigmatize ASD. It is our mission to give families a platform to voice their struggles, celebrate their victories and share their story; all the while, removing the stigma and stereotypes of what is thought to be representative of Autism and show the world just how broad and beautiful the spectrum is.

Welcome Home Dax - In Home Newborn Session

I was so excited that this beautiful momma & her adorable tribe were all game for welcoming Dax home with a newborn session! Hidden away from the cold, they spent the morning all cozied up at home, so in love with their newest edition. Oh those beautiful, dazed, sleepless, love filled first days!

 I tried and I tried to think of something clever, something smart, something deep, unique and authentic … after all I was brainstorming for my  very first blog! But...then I came back to the beginning. The reason I wanted to develop this passion of mine in the first place. To document my daily inspirations, motivations, the people I love and the connection that bonds us together. 

 In my view photography doesn't always need to epic to be beautiful. There is magic to be found amongst the mundane. It can be about finding beauty in everyday life. There are the tiniest love filled moments just waiting to be acknowledged. 

Bath time giggles, eyes of wonder, messy meal time faces, arts and crafts, a gentle touch, crazy tickles, supermarket races, afternoon walks, sleeping stillness, soft words, a genuine smile. 

Maybe the story is simple but it’s ours, to keep and to cherish.
